Why does it always seem that the shows I like the most always seem to be cancelled. I was glad to see it come back for a second season and I thought it was as good as the first season.
I'm not a person of faith so I found it interesting that, even though Eli's faith in his visions and whatever may be the reason behind them is central to the story lines, he questions their meaning as he and his acupuncturist/friend Dr. Chen try to interpret them. Sometimes you just have to trust that your instincts are right and follow you gut feeling. The last couple of episodes, I've been yelling at Eli (yelling at the TV!) whenever he is alone with Maggie..."GRAB HER!" I think they make a perfect team (and couple) and I was really surprised to see Maggie leave the firm. I think there are still a few more episodes to air so maybe the ratings will jump now that the show is in the news. Fan support may help too...it worked with Jericho to at least bring back a short season and wrap up the story lines.
I hope ABC doesn't replace Eli Stone with yet another reality show that demonstrates nothing more than the fact that some people will do anything for money.
